The special model of Busch and Espewe for the Leipzig fair Model Hobby Game is a real exotic and has its roots in East German vehicle construction. The fire truck on W50 chassis, which was approved on 06.07.1978, was built at the IFA Automobilwerke Ludwigsfelde, the body comes from the FGL Luckenwalde. From 1978 to 1991, the LF16 probably performed his service in Berlin and was registered with the Berlin fire department in the III. III Berlin 13 with the license B-20016 from 10.12.1991.From 19.04.1995 it was in the district of Bad Doberan at the FFW Lamprechtshagen in use and led the license plate DBR-LV 46, before it was retired on 12.07.2012 and sold to a private individual.Since then, the fire truck is approved as a classic car. From 04.11.2013 the W50 is owned by a Berlin restaurateur and vehicle-lover and his wife. They rode through Berlin and Brandenburg at the "Friss mein Staub" rally, where they met the ESPEWE team. The common predilection for vehicles from the GDR created the idea for a special special model, which this year will enrich the original Busch stand. The fire brigade was rebuilt into an event vehicle in cooperation with Jägermeister and is to be used in future as a show vehicle and bartender at events such as trade fairs or classic car events. At the same time the Hubertusrat (Association of Bartenders: http://hubertusrat.de) uses the fire engine for promotion purposes and also for the owners bars, the Butchers Bar and Sloppy Joes Bar in Berlin is the fire truck on promotional tour.Because of its long tradition, the ESPEWE brand is well-remembered by collectors of East German model cars.Since 1961 in Annaberg-Buchholz lovingly designed, true to scale miniatures were made, which were on the state of the time and had to shy away from any comparison.Unfortunately, the brand was renamed in the 70s.The model car production took place from now on in Berlin under changing brands.Especially in recent years, the model car sector is experiencing a renaissance after East German models. In addition to countless small series manufacturers, almost all well-known large-scale producers are increasingly active in this segment.Since 2012, the production of the Espewe models is back in the Erzgebirge.Only 50 km away from Annaberg-Buchholz, the new ESPEWE models are manufactured today in the production plant of the company Busch in Schnheide and since then have again had the addition "Made in Germany".And of course, vehicles based on East German models such as W50 and L60 will continue to be the focus of the range and future developments. There was no way around such an interesting vehicle as the W50 bargain vehicle. The special model is printed authentically in a small edition at the fair and does not appear in the normal range. So a real exotic, in the original and also in the model collection. The model is packed in a presentation box with a limitation sticker.
